GeoTrace Advanced — FMC650
Requires an active SIM and a GeoTrace platform subscription to send live data.
Heavy-duty 4G LTE terminal for advanced fleet, CAN-bus and dual-CAN applications. Built for trucks, buses and heavy equipment that need rich I/O and telemetry.
Overview
Heavy-duty 4G tracker with external antennas and Starlink bridging.
The FMC650 is our premium tracker for trucks, heavy machinery, boats and caravans. It ships with external GNSS and cellular antennas for stronger reception, and its RS232 port bridges to Starlink so you can stay findable outside cellular coverage.
Full J1939 and CAN-bus support reads deep engine data — run hours, fuel rate, temperatures, RPM — for agricultural, marine and construction equipment.

4G LTE nationwide coverage
Purpose-built for Australia's 4G LTE network with automatic fallback in remote areas — the same coverage you get from a modern smartphone, in a device the size of a matchbox. Metro, regional or outback, if there's cellular signal, your tracker is online.

Multi-constellation GNSS
Uses all four global satellite constellations — GPS (USA), GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (Europe) and BeiDou (China) — for sub-3-metre position accuracy anywhere in Australia. Even under thick tree cover or urban canyons, the tracker locks on faster and holds a fix longer than single-constellation devices.

CAN-bus & J1939 engine data
Reads live data straight from the vehicle's CAN network — fuel level, engine RPM, coolant temperature, odometer, run hours and diagnostic trouble codes. Perfect for trucks, buses, heavy machinery and any asset where the difference between an hour of run-time and an hour of idling matters.

Hardwired & hidden — impossible to unplug
Installed by an auto electrician behind your dashboard, the tracker is wired directly to the vehicle's ignition and battery. Thieves can't find it, can't unplug it, and can't disable it — because they don't know it's there. Backup battery keeps reporting even if the main power is cut.

Built for Australian fleets
Whether it's one ute or a hundred trucks, GeoTrace scales — same live map, same alerts, same reports, one login. Metro delivery vans, regional trades, mining support vehicles, agricultural machinery — the same platform runs the lot.

Australian-based server — safe, secure, protected
Every GeoTrace tracker streams into infrastructure hosted right here in Australia. Your fleet location data, driver information and trip history never leaves the country — no offshore relay servers, no unclear data-protection laws, and none of the risk that comes with routing sensitive tracking data through unknown jurisdictions.

Unlimited vehicle tracking
From a single log-in, track as many GeoTrace devices as you want. Whether you're an individual with a personal vehicle or a fleet operator with hundreds of trucks spread across the country, every asset shows up on one live map — with unified geofences, alerts and reports across the whole fleet.

30 days of trip history
Replay any journey your assets have taken over the last 30 days — with full route, speed, stop duration and driver detail. Perfect for insurance disputes, HR investigations, or just proving a driver was where they said they were.

Geofences & real-time alerts
Draw geofences around depots, customer sites, restricted zones or entire suburbs — and get an instant SMS, email or push notification the moment an asset enters or leaves. Combine with speed, tow-away and after-hours alerts to know about problems the second they happen, not the morning after.

One-second live map
The map refreshes every second, on every device, on desktop and mobile. See the exact location, heading and speed of every asset in real time. No page reloads, no lag, no waiting five minutes for a fresh position — the truck moves, the pin moves.
Tracker features
External LTE antenna
Stronger 4G reception through metal cabins, boats and machinery.
External GNSS antenna
Reliable fixes even under thick cabins, canopies or containers.
Starlink bridge (RS232)
Connects to Starlink via RS232 + Ethernet — findable outside cellular range.
J1939 / CAN support
Reads engine run hours, fuel rate, RPM, temperatures and DTCs.
Backup battery
Continues reporting for hours after external power is cut.
Marine-grade build
Rugged housing for boats, yachts and pressure-washed vehicles.
Immobiliser / brake wire
Wire into caravan electric brakes so it can't be towed away.
Full alerts suite
Crash, tow-away, geofence, over-speed and low-voltage alerts.
Digital inputs
Wire door sensors, sirens and PTOs directly to the tracker.
Large offline memory
Buffers thousands of records when out of coverage.
Portal features
Every GeoTrace device streams into the same live web platform, hosted in Australia. One dashboard for the whole fleet, whatever hardware you install.
Live map
Every asset streaming to a single Australian-hosted map, refreshed each second.
Trip history
Replay any journey — up to 30 days of movement, route, speed and stops.
